Recipe crafting has been activated today.

It is not yet a definitive version of the system, but ideas and suggestions can be shared to improve the system.

The idea is when you start a new character, you don't know all the recipes. Just a few. You unlock them by crafting, purchasing recipes, by hunting or by doing BODs. It is a very similar system to what exists on Legends of Aria (or what is left of the game ...).

Recipes will defintely be part of the new resource/crafting udpate, which may only come in a couple months from now. However, if you like the idea, you can share how you feel about it. If you don't like feeling limited at start as a crafter, please say why and how you think it should be.

Also, three new resources are coming soon : Corundum, Nexus and Titan. They exist for Metal, Leather, Scales and Wood. Corundum requires 125 skills, Nexus 130 and Titan 135. However, single skillcap will stay 120 with Legendary Powerscrolls. Only through +X skill bonuses you will be able to craft the best items in the game.

I'm very enthousiast about these new resources (and the global crafting overhaul that is coming later).

Step by step, crafting the shard as a unique jewel :-))

Would it be possible to have a recipe book ?
There are many recipes and it takes a lot of space to store them.

Good idea. It’s true it would become cumbersome if kept that way on the long run.

I like the idea to have to learn the recipes (I'm more a crafter than a hunter).

So, I'd prefer to get the harder recipes by crafting a lot, and not hunting difficult monsters. :-)
